RENOVATION DETAILS The contractor has provided the following cost estimates: Demolition $20,000 Flooring $26,000 Electrical and plumbing $30,000 Painting $25,500 Washroom and fumiture upgrades $81,000 Restaurant upgrades $62,000 On September 1, 2021, the B&B will close in order to complete the demolition, flooring, electrical and plumbing, washroom and furniture upgrades. During the two months of closure, the Hallidays expect to lose $17,000 in profit. GBB will reopen on November 1, 2021, at which point Ken and Audrey expect to charge $145 per room, and have 160 bookings per month. They would like to achieve a rate of retum of 15%. Renovations will continue in September 2022. Half of the painting will be completed in 2022, and the remainder will be completed in 2023. Restaurant renovations will be divided over three years, with a cost of $30,000 in 2022, $20,000 in 2023 and $12,000 in 2024
