As a new employee of a firm, a collective or an organization, how would you go about ascertaining whether or not your information was being maintained securely, and what steps would you take if you noticed security flaws?

How would you, as a Law Clerk, deal with a small data breach, say the personal information of one of your clients is accidentally left exposed? How would you deal with a larger data breach that you were the first to notice? What if you weren't sure if data had been compromised?
