Sexual assaults occur in all prisons. Why is it difficult to stop sexual assaults in prisons? Can they be controlled? Why is it difficult to control sexual assaults? What is done to inmates that commit sexual assaults?

Discuss the pros and cons of minimum-mandatory sentencing. Be able to provide examples.

What types of prevention and treatment programs are available to female inmates? How does this compare to prevention and treatment programs for male inmates? Do you believe there are enough programs available for offenders, why or why not? Add research to support answer.
