What would be a good response to this class post? I think workplace stress is skyrocketing because we don't have enough help, whatever job you are performing maybe the load is too heavy. I know being a Patient care assistant, The load was always heavy with no help because everyone of us who worked as a PCA was bogged down with at least 14 patients, we never could stay fully staffed. I think stress in the workplace will continue if there is not enough help given maybe if the managers would put something in place to keep staff it would end, in the beginning I didn't feel like I was impacted with workplace stress until being in the field so long I most definitely was impacted. I stayed in the field as a PCA for 20 years until I decided to change my career not saying I can't be impacted as a Medical Assistant because I know it's possible it's all work now, I've learned to step away for a moment or take a few breaths and get back in it because the job has to be done
