- a=[H2O2] in the reaction vessel x=[S2O32]/2 in the reaction vessel (the theory is described in the first few pages of Exp. 4 in the Lab Manual) HINT: How much volume is in the reaction vessel? The reaction vessel is the beaker in which solution A is made and into which solution B is added. Both solutions A \& B must be present for the reaction to take place. - You should realize that, for x=0,ln[(a)/(ax)]=0 and Time =0. (0,0) is thus a valid data point, and you should explicitly include this point when using Excel to generate the linear Trendline for the plot of In [(a)/(ax)] vs Time. This is entered in the first data row of the table. Furthermore, for this particular trendline, you must select the "Format Trendline" option: "Set intercept =0 " to require the line to pass directly through ( 0 , 0 ). - a=[H2O2] in the reaction vessel x=[S2O32]/2 in the reaction vessel (the theory is described in the first few pages of Exp. 4 in the Lab Manual) HINT: How much volume is in the reaction vessel?
