Adaptive leadership stresses the behaviors of the leader in relation to the work of the followers in the situations in which they find themselves (Northouse,2021). This is different than other leadership styles previously learned because the leader is having to constantly adapt to the environment they are in and not consistently staying one specific way. Adaptive leadership can also drift you away from your values in order to best fit the needs of the organization or group. Technical challenges faced: Outdated equipment that breaks often, challenges with time management software. Adaptive challenges: Culture of the workplace, During some of these workplace challenges, I do not think the leaderships response correlated with adaptive leadership behaviors. Leadership did not recognize and address systematic issues and did not encourage collaborative problem solving or encourage people to step outside of their comfort zone. Currently I have my work email on the outlook app downloaded on my phone and my personal email linked to the Gmail app on my phone. I have a work phone that I never use because it is a hassle to be responsible for two phones. I don't have notification alerts on my phone either so it is easier to separate both mail accounts because I have to select which mail app I want to open up which creates less mix up/confusion
