The Nissan Sports car model sold in the US is known as Nissan Z-car (https://www.nissanusa.com/vehicles/sports-cars/nissan-z.htmlLinks to an external site.). In Japan, the same model is sold under the name Nissan FairLady Z.

Pocari Sweat (https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/01/business/japan-pocari-sweat-branding-hnk-intl-dst/index.htmlLinks to an external site.) is a popular drink in Japan.

In the United States, it is common to introduce a person in the order of First Name and Last Name. James Bonds signature self-introduction is My name is Bond, James Bond. In parts of Asia, it is common to introduce a person in the order of Last Name and First Name. There, it would be appropriate for James Bond to introduce himself as My name is Bond, Bond James.

In some countries/cultures it may be acceptable to address people by their nicknames, while in others it is not acceptable to address people by their nicknames. Dictionary.com defines nickname as a name substituted for the proper name of a person, place, etc., as in affection, ridicule, or familiarity.

Things that may seem innocuous on the surface (e.g. product names or how people are addressed) could create significant barriers/problems when conducting business globally.
