When assessing the damages Sloan’s suffered from  ordeal how much of the harm was caused by Equifax actions?

Purportedly, the entire incident of identity theft caused her marital discord, insomnia, and emotional distress.  Yet, the identity theft did involve, after all, not only Equifax, but the identity theft creditors, and other credit reporting agencies.

Are the damages of cells to Equifax proportionate to  Equifax his contributions to Sloans ordeal?

Or should  Equifax be viewed as the list cost avoid or the party who can internalize the costs preventing harm out the least overall cost ?
