When I had my tax practice, I told clients that all income must be reported and all expenses must be for the business only. I cannot accept anything other than this or I cannot do their taxes. The benefit to them never transfers to me, especially when you consider the risk of noncompliance. If clients are paying you to help them deceive the government, then you are just as responsible. Thoughts?
