When I think about risk it always takes my back to my days in the Army where I dealt with risk quit often. When we talk about biases in the Army I can speak from my point of view , because everyone doesn't experience the same thing. When I think of biases the one word that comes to me is favoritism. I've experienced that when there was male supervisor leadership the females Soldiers who do what ever they could to get into their good graces. This was in my eyes was a unfair bias because as Soldiers everyone should be treated the same no matter what their gender is. When you have enough people complain about these biases then you can try to implicate the correct changes. But the problem is that these problems exist at the higher levels and change is slow or if anything at all. Risk is something that every organization and or business faces on a regular basis. Risk is all about taking chances and the probability of success or failure. I think you have to not look at risk as always the negative. Some risks that are taken in corporate america works out very well and lucrative. So this is something we need to keep in mind.
