According to Harvard Business School (2001), someone who has influence is not only likely to have others listening attentively, but is also less likely to be interrupted or challenged by the others. Then conflict can affect the team process, by which these negative emotions can lead team members to personalize substantive debates and develop cycles of negative attributions about the motives and capabilities of other team members (Harvard Business School, 2001)
