When it comes to resumes, I like to learn what is needed. A template is great for me. I have been with one company for so many years and have not had to complete an updated resume in so long. I have had to update information on my existing resume and complete a cover letter for each new step up in positions at my work. For the new positions I had a board to attend and usually a written test portion to take. The relationship between my resume and cover letter is to make it easier for the hiring process to know I have the qualifications needed to proceed further. If the requirements are not seen, my resume will be thrown on the "no" pile.. can AI create a response and question to this post
