When Microsoft releases a new version, the upgrade overwrites our customization in the application and in the database. We export our customized forms and dictionary files, and our SQL stored procedures prior to the upgrade. When the upgrade is completed, we have to import the forms, dictionary files, and stored procedures. We have to test all applications after the upgrade to verify all functionality is working.
