When Mike opened his chequing account with his local bank, he asked numerous questions of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) including; what are the chequing account and credit card fees. Months later, upon returning from an extended overseas trip, he noticed numerous fees on both his credit card and chequing account bank statements. Mike immediately contacted the bank to find out about the fees. The CSR informed Mike that the bank recently added service charges on international transactions on both credit cards and chequing accounts. When Mike protested, the bank informed him that the new charges had been included in a flyer with his last paper statement. Mike realizes he did receive the information but considered it "junk mail" advertising. The flyer was also lengthy and in small print. Look up the term, "minimum chequing account", on the link below. Explain how this could apply to Mike's situation. Open Link in a new tab.. https://www.td.com/ca/en/personal-banking/products/bank-accounts/chequi
