When Neri turned 18 years old, she hurriedly applied as a saleslady in a department store in their town. She just dropped off from college in her first year, the oldest in her class because she had to skip two years of high school due to poverty. Meeting the requirements and passing the interview, Neri got the job - her first job at that. Her contract indicates putting her on six months probationary period pending evaluation for possible regularization.
