When we consider the types of ownership there are to choose from, we observe, sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability companies, corporation, and cooperative. When it comes down to choosing the ownership style, we have to factor in the flexibility we desire, complexity, liability, taxes, control, investment, and regulations including licenses and permits. Expenses that tie into owning property or a business can be crucial to not only understand but try to get the least amount of money you owe, whether it be from rent, insurances, or taxes. In today's modern times, I would personally pick the sole and separate ownership and the sole proprietorship.

"Sole and separate ownership can be used to take advantage of special property tax exemptions, simplify property management, or avoid inheritance taxes." (Sirota & Evans, 2019, pg. 30) Unlike the time during Matthew 27:7, taxes are collected and in businesses ranks matter. If one person is help responsible for the debt and profits of a company things will not only run smoother, but it is the least costing business structure and you have the ability to be your own boss, meaning no one can act on your behalf. "So they decided to use the money to buy the potter's field as a burial place for foreigners." (NIV, 1973/2011, Matthew 27:7) This verse in the bible explains to us how Judas tried giving the money to the priests after betraying Jesus, but filled with sorrow and guilt, Judas walked to a field and hung himself. After the priests discovered the death of Judas, they used the money from Judas to buy the field in honor of him. Despite a group working together to conduct a memorial for him, it is easier for one person to agree and make the decision, rather than one person opposing because of the lack of forgiveness for ones' past discretions.
