When you are aligned, you know what you value and behave in accordance with those values. One way to do it is to compare your values with how you spend your time. First, imagine you have $100 to allocate among domain buckets. Obviously, there are no right or wrong answers; however, the total across the six columns must not exceed $100.

Next, look at a recent but typical (i.e., non-vacation) week in your calendar. Looking at your work schedule and other appointments/activities, estimate the number of hours (out of 168) that you spend in each of the following activities.

Now compare the percentage of time you spend doing the activities with the original value you placed on the various buckets.
