Jim came back on the 16th and said he did not want to pay more than $11,000. The salesperson apologized that he could not help Jim. Jim came back on the 30th of the month with $12,000 and handed it to the salesperson. The salesperson refused the money and told Jim that the price had gone up;

-John saw an advertisement that the dealership had put out last month that stated that the pictured car "can be yours for $20,000". On the 30th, John came in and handed $20,000 and a copy of the ad to the salesperson and said "I'll take it!" The salesperson apologized to John and said that they were all sold out, but he could order another one for him, though it would cost $22,000. John was furious and promised to sue;
