Assign no more than 10 stores to one DC

-Texarkana = 10 & Huntsville 6

-Texarkana = 8 & Huntsville 8

-Texarkana = 6 & Huntsville 10

-Assume 200 units per truck

-Amarillo will need 19 trucks to fulfill the 3700 units.

-Assume fixed cost of $100 per truck

-They should be within 5 miles of an interstate.

-Assume variable cost $0.50 per mile one way

Texarkana to Amarillo = 491 miles (Google maps)

All customers must be served in 1 day, so no more than 600 miles

There are 16 customers across Texas that you must service using two distribution centers, with each D.C. serving no more than 10 different customers.

My expectations for this assignment are simply that you find a distribution network that fulfills all the criteria set forth in the assignment.
