which halobenzene would be the most reactive towards electrophilic nitration?

image text in transcribed

I am stuck between A and D

I think Its iodine because it is less electronegative meaning it will cause less polarization. We want less polarization because the more polarized the molecule the higher the activation energy and the higher the activation energy the slower the reaction because now we need more energy to perform the reaction

A. Fluorobenzene B. Chlorobenzene C. Bromobenzene D. lodobenzene E. All halobenzenes will be approximately equally reactive
