Which of these operators will occur first in the solution?

NOTE: This is NOT simply a question about PMDAS$/$PEMDAS$,$ or your favorite memory tool.

Nothing in the homework document says where parentheses would appear in your program, and those would certainly affect what calculation would perform first. To answer this question, you must consider the problem being solved.

For example, you know that to calculate the average of several numbers, you must add them all up before dividing. Even PMDAS suggests division occurs before addition, the necessary steps $($and implied parentheses$)$ would require the addition first.
