Why do car dealerships try to sell the outdated model cars before the newer models...inventory reduction, incentive, or is it because the customer demands? As a marketer it is in the best interest of the company to probably sell the outdated model based on the business and using persuasive techniques we can entice or sway the customer to our business need...is this ethical? Thoughts?
