Why do you think there are different limitations for different types of actions? Do you see any logic or patterns the differing statutes of limitations? (Hint: look at property and contract actions, as opposed to personal actions, for instance) Do you think the various limitations are a) too short, b) too long or c) just about right? Why are there statutes of limitations at all? Why should somebody be allowed to legally "get away with" the tort, just because the victim did not act in time?
