• Why does Cowen think that economic growth should trump almost any other objective? In other words, why does he think that if we have to choose between policies, we should choose the policies that give the highest rates of growth? (Since this is basically the entire book, focus on one or two of the arguments you find most compelling.)
• Does Cowen focus only on GDP growth? If not, why not?
• How important are discount rates in Cowen's analysis?
