WIDGET COMPANY CEO DECIDING TO DONATE MONEY: "We've been in this community for many years, and there has always been a good labour pool. We have never had to recruit factory workers from out of town; there are always plenty of qualified applicants right here to any open positions we have. We owe a lot to the city. We should give something back. It is our duty to support this community that we could not do without. I have been charged with researching location charities, and it is my considered opinion that Youth Meals is most worthy. The program improves the lives of many children, some of whom may end up working for us one day. I am recommending that we give $100,000 to the program. We are fortunate to be as successful as we are, and as a successful operation, we have an obligation to help when we can. Making this donation is the right thing to do."
