William buys seven cartons of Passion $9$ yoghurt from Wollongong Shopping Centre. He eats one carton as soon as he sits down at home to watch television. There is breaking news which interrupts the television soapie which William has just started watching. An extortionist claims to have contaminated a certain batch of the yoghurt with arsenic as it was being produced. The public is warned that the yoghurt with the code XPT on the bottom of the carton is from the $$affected$$ batch. William immediately checks the yoghurt he has bought, and to his horror, discovers it is from that batch. He goes straight to the emergency department of Wollongong Hospital where he is advised to have his stomach pumped. William spends a harrowing night in the hospital experiencing considerable pain and anxiety.
