(c) On the 1st of March, the business paid for advertising images to appear on a range of billboards around the city. These advertisements cost $12,000 and will appear on the billboards for 6 months, starting in March. The $12,000 was originally recorded as an expense. (d) The business rents their premises which they use for office space. Rent payments are made monthly on the last day of the month for the following month in advance. The annual rental contracts are worth $30,000, the lease contract is in its first year. Rent is recorded as an expense when paid. (for first year of operations). (e) The business pays its sales employees on a weekly basis. Payments for outstanding wages are made every Wednesday, for the week prior. On the 30th of June workers had worked 3 days of the next pay cycle. The business pays $500 a day in wages. Assume Employees work 5 days week, 52 weeks a year.
