With mass shootings at public places, we are all shaken. A college seems like such a safe place, where learning is nurtured. With recent shootings, though, it is clear that college campuses are not always safe places. In the aftermath, let's first remember the victims. Moving forward, there will be much discussion about what should be done to increase safety on campus. What do you think? What steps should college administrators take$--$metal detectors in classroom buildings? more armed security officers? better classroom security, such as locked doors? permit students to carry guns on campus?
