Without a Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity (DRBC) strategy, it is going to be very difficult to please everyone in the event of a crisis (YouTube, 2016). At a time of havoc it is much more mind easing and time saving by having a plan already in place for the next step for the company to get back up and running for the employees, the stakeholders, and the beneficiaries. DRBC is designed to help recover after a disaster, they are not to prevent a disaster. It is important to note that this plan should be as complete as possible. Being prepared for the after effects of a disaster is important because you cannot prevent a disaster, it is inevitable (Kenton, 2023). Establishing a plan early will allow any weaknesses to come to light. Steps should be taken to be sure you are prepared: Maintain an emergency plan Maintain a backup system/back up data repetitively Maintain a relationship with insurance advisor Maintain a clear line of communication with employees, stakeholders, and beneficiaries (Sweeney, 2019) If a disaster were to strike my company, I would be looking to bring my company back up not simply worrying about how to stay online and
