1-There are several modalities that project managers can adapt in order to design their project among them are predictive and adaptive approaches. The main differences between the two methodologies are: How the management team wants to manage project requirements and in which way they want to handle the change in their project. When the project managers evaluate a project and observe a clear vision and well-defined requirements they prefer to adopt a predictive approach. Especially, when the project is similar to a previously done project that the management team is familiar with, they rather adopt the predictive approach. In order to start a predictive method, the project managers gather all the details about the project before they start designing their plan because the predictive approach leaves very little room for changes once the project starts, and because the phases are sequential the project managers prefer to stay with the plan, lead it by the schedule phase by phase, and prevent any changes unless it becomes mandatory by the client or due to an unexpected surprise. The negative surprises are costly for the project because of the budget and time frame constraints. The adaptive method, on the other hand, suits a project that follows the evolving requirements, and mostly the outcome is not well-defined. These kinds of projects are more flexible and more adaptable during the process. It is customer-oriented, takes frequent communication, teamwork, more time to complete the job, and skilled staff with enormous patience who would dedicate their knowledge; years of experience; customer service skills; and moral values to a job that needs to be done in style. Due to the fact that the team learns more about the outcome after receiving the results from the previous test and plans to improve their technique in future tests.

2- The hybrid approach as the word suggests is a combination of two methodologies. In some cases, project managers decide to plan their project by adopting a hybrid approach and divide the project into predictive parts and adaptive parts. The key to this approach is to educate all the stakeholders on how this approach works and how important it is to review all the updates sent to them immediately so every stakeholder is aware of the progress of the project. Besides the benefits such as flexibility; adaptability; structure; and control provided by the adaptive approach, saving resources by testing the computer one of the components of the project, and seeing the result instead of making the product is a great point of saving material; time; budget; and staff hours which helps the main constraints in all the projects budget and deadline. Often the project starts with the predictive part for instance updating an old computer system in an office. The first phase of installing the new system is predictive although running tests to see how the new features work with the old system is the adaptive part. Under different circumstances project starts with the adaptive part and the predictive part comes next to complete the project. For instance, a new recipe is being tested first and after the satisfying result is reached the product gets approval to be made. Projects that are long; complex; and have flexible time frames and budgets are suitable for a hybrid approach.
