As you read the text and other materials related to content for this course and engage with the multimedia resources related to the content, you will encounter many words, phrases, and ideas that you may want to record that seem to be important, prevalent throughout the materials, spark other ideas, or raise questions regarding assessment and use of data in the K-12 setting.

1. Compose a document with six columns. Use the six areas noted above as headings. As you come across key words, phrases, or ideas in your readings, discussions, and viewing of videos and other multimedia throughout the course, related to these topics, record them in the corresponding list. As you encounter a word or phrase (or an idea represented by multiple words) record it in the appropriate column. You will likely (and hopefully) record the same words and phrases multiple times; this is acceptable as frequency of ideas plays a role in this assignment. Try to include at least 50 to 60 words/phrases in the six lists. The lists should be related to:
