Write the Satunits figure for each student in Table 3.1 on one of the cards. Now, to simulate the null hypothesis, you shuffle the cards and then deal one pile of 12 to represent the females and another of 8 to represent the males. Work out the mean of each and the difference and start to plot a diagram like Figure 8.2. Twenty shuffles should be enough to see the rough pattern. Alternatively use some data of your own.
