JAKOA Johor have assisted the indigenous groups (Orang Asli) to improve their economic and wellbeing under the initiative of "Program Latihan Kemahiran dan Kerjaya (PLKK)". Some of the projects are stingless bees (kelulut) honey production, mussels farming projects, cattle breeding and coffee and pineapple cultivations (Mr. Faizal Long, JAKOA Johor Director).
