Write a cover letter that would accompany your resume for a job application. It should be to a company that you would actually apply to for a job you are actually interested in$.$ You can either write this completely realistically$--$as a college student applying for a job or internship. Or$,$ you could imagine that you're just graduating now and that you're applying for your first job out of college. In either case, I$\text{'}$d like this to be a solicited cover letter. That means that you're responding to an actual ad or job listing. This is a real job that you're applying for. So make it realistic for your experience. And please include a copy of the job listing with your letter. You can just cut and paste it into page $2$ of your document. Make sure to get your reader$$s attention in the first paragraph. Try to show your experience$/$skills in terms of benefits to the reader. Remember to connect yourself very specifically to the job$/$company$.$ Don$$t forget to end on a pleasant note that suggests an interview.
