• A client arrives. He is bleeding from a deep cut on his head, and you call an ambulance to take him to the hospital.
• You play cards for an hour with two regular clients who come in to get out of the rain.
• Police officers visit you to ask if you have seen a regular client that evening. He is wanted for questioning because he witnessed an assault.
• A newspaper reporter comes into the center and asks to interview you for her paper. You decline, give her your supervisor's work number, and advise her to call in the morning.
