Be sure to include a very brief biography about the life of the theorist as well as detailed information about his counseling theory and its significance to the human services profession.

• Describe the major elements of the counseling theory that he is associated with, including the strengths and weaknesses of the theory.
• What events or experiences in the life of the theorist influenced him to become involved in counseling theory?
• How did the theorist’s work and philosophy influence and/or contribute to the counseling profession?
• Has the work of this theorist continued to exercise an important influence on counseling theory or practice today? For example, what types of clients are most likely benefiting from this particular counseling theory today?
