Write a short narrative for the following present levels of performance for an IEP: Nathan is able to add and subtract single digit numbers within 20 using manipulatives. He is currently working on 2 digit number addition and 2 digit subtraction with regrouping using place value mat and manipulatives. He is currently learning to recognize which operations to use when problems are mixed. He is able to label and add fractions with like denominators. Nathan will continue to work on adding and subtracting 2 digit numbers in order to perform more complex math skills such as multiplication and division. Nathan continues to show delays in his math skills and needs direct instruction and assistances in building these skills. These mathematical skill deficits interfere with his ability to be successful in the general curriculum
