The pressure was varied in the range 1.0 - 4.0 GPa and the temperature was varied in the range 350-700"C. Viscosity values range from 1 Pa.s to 6 Pa.s and activation energies of viscous flow are 49 kJ/mole and 67 kJ/mole at 1.0 GPa and 4.0 GPa, respectively. Two sphere systems yielded density values of liquid sulphur. The derived thermal expansion values are 7.9 x 10* K and 2.8 x 10# K] at 1.0 GPa and 4.0 GPa, respectively. The dependence of viscosity on temperature and pressure were interpreted to result from both thermal bond scission and volumetric reduction, respectively. The results provide further understanding of the rheological behaviour of sulphur containing liquids, particularly the outer core fluid. Also Jupiter's third largest satellite, lo, has been spectroscopically observed to have constant active volcanism with pure sulfur magmas. The rheological property measurements in the study are consistent with the large vent velocities of lonian eruptions, resulting in volcanic plumes greater than 170 km in height. o - what was investigated . - calculated results - method/procedure . - conclusion . - range of variables . - applications12U Lab Investigation - Non-Uniform Acceleration Problem: To analyze the motion exhibited by a chain falling over the edge of a desk. Procedure: 1/ - Pull the length of change over the edge of the desk until it just begins to fall under it's own influence. 2/ - Divide the tape into appropriate intervals, make measurements, and fill in the data table. 3/ - Produce two graphs: a v-t graph and an a-t graph. Analysis: V a The frequency of the ticker tape timer is: Hz Therefore, every dots represents S.The Motion Exhibited by a Chain Falling Over The Edge of a Desk 400 350 300 250 200 Velocity (cm's) 150 100 50 0 0.00 0.05 0.10 0.15 0.20 0.25 0.30 0.35 0.40 0.45 0.50 0.55 0.60 0.65 0.70 0.75 0.80 0.85 0.90 0.95 1.00 1.05 1.10 Time (s)Step by Step Solution
