Write an appreciation message to someone who went beyond his or her job to help you out. Maybe this person is consistently offering accurate answers or responds in a timely manner and does not mind helping out.

We all know what mediocrity looks like and may have been guilty of having days like this ourselves. However, it is important to acknowledge these individuals and a written note goes a long way.

Follow the steps on pages 102-104. While not required, I would encourage you to take it a step further and send this note to that person and even their boss. It feels great to be recognized!
