write an email I may have made a mistake thinking that the clinical assistance were at a lower rate until they become certified. I did have a discussion with Pam in early February regarding her time frame to pass this test and become a CMA. Unfortunately, I did not know we had increased pays prior to providing certification, so I made a statement advising her she would be eligible for a pay increase of the 10 % that has always been in place. Pam and I spoke this morning and at that time she made me aware of a different conversation with Tom Jones the previous manager. Pam is stating Tom Jones advised her that her raise would be in the ballpark of 4.00$, where that number came from is beyond me. Pam feels very upset and states she has been counting on this increase. Pam has been very kind and would like for me to escalate this further on her behalf. Just for your information, I became the office manager 02/05/2024, but Tom remained here sat the Mountain Ave clinic up until the end of February while I was providing most of my leadership in St. John's as that was where I was most needed. While the clinical assistance have been under my supervision, I have put a more definitive strenuous time frame on the completions of their certifications due to the lack of ability to fully provide support to the providers in both clinics.
