Mixing Alcohol and Benzos heighten the effects of each, misusing these increase your chances of in bodily harm, dangerous behavior, and possibly death. Benzodiazepines work by delaying transmission of information between the brain and the body. Then when you combine it with alcohol you depress your central nervous system which can lead to severe organ failure and death over time. Some side effects of using both are mood swings, depression, memory loss, loss of coordination, organ failure, unconsciousness, and slow and shallow breathing
