RE: Request for emergency funds: Fire Exchange Programme

I hereby respectfully request funds which will assist us to cater for the fire Exchange Programme delegates for 19 to 28 March 2024

The total delates for this visit would compose of Eight (8) Senior members from China including Dr Mokwena who is the Executive mayor of Sabela District.

The visit will comprise of the South African delegates from Fire services and other south African municipalities from fire service like the Sabelas district,Batho, Kwena, Betha, Valey. The program for this visit includes the following:

Fire and Rescue Presentation

Education tour to the tunnel

Airfield visits in.

Fire industry is an every changing and involving environment and hence it is of vital importance to foster relationships internally and externally with other developed countries to learn and improve our personnel skills and knowledge in order to increase our chances of winning in our operations. This relationship assists us into new technologies that are emerging regarding hazards like new motor vehicles, new energy sources and other technologies and how we can mitigate against these hazards with no danger to our firefighters.
