Yes, there is a huge difference between the Information security and IT security. The Information security is limited to InfoSec and covers the part of the security of information from unauthorized access, disclosure, modifications or any kind of damage. It covers all aspect of protection and not only technology related.

Whereas IT Security is a concept of preventing unauthorized access to computers, networks, and data. It basically has three pillars -Confidentiality, Integrity, and Accessibility. IT Security is only concerned with security of information technology i.e. systems, networks, applications and the interaction between those technology components and end-users.
