Joseph explained that he has created over 100 logos for small businesses in the area. He's very well qualified for the job.

You bring up that you have a very tight deadline to get a logo done. The first order needs to be delivered to a coffee shop in February 2023. It takes about a month to print the packaging and then package the coffee. You asked how long it would take for Joseph to design a logo for you.

He says it can be as quick as a week, but it really depends on how intricate you want the design to be and how long it will take you to review and approve any design.

You both decide that a month should be more than enough time based on the design you want. Joseph said he can start working on this on December 1, 2022.

You go back to the topic of the actual logo. You were wondering if Joseph can include 3 different colored versions of the logo. He said it depends on how much you were willing to pay for everything.

So you both start talking about the fees. Joseph said his normal rate is $500 per logo. Any additional variations of the logo (e.g., different colors) would be $50 each.

He suggested that you may actually want two logos - one with just a symbol for the packaging; another one that includes the name of the business for your website. If you go this route, he'll give you a discount and charge you $800 for both logos and unlimited variations.
