You are a new paralegal right out of school. You take the first job offered to you at a small-sized law firm that is poorly run and not very well respected in the legal community. You work at the firm for only a month and quit. You apply for another position at a different firm and decide not to mention the employment of the small-sized firm, as it was only for a month. You sign the employment application form knowing that it says if you are found to have lied on the application form, you could be terminated. You are subsequently hired by the new firm.
