You are going to need a car and someone to drive you around (an empty parking lot would be good for most of this). Hang a washer or a spoon or something kind of heavy from the ceiling in your car with a piece of string, it must be able to swing freely (you can hold the string with your hand but your hand must be held up against the ceiling). Notice how the weight moves as the car moves. Pay particular attention to how far and in what direction the weight swings when you:

1) Maintain a steady speed that is slow.

2) Maintain a steady speed that is fast.

3) Start of from a stop with the weight not moving and then accelerate slowly.

4) Start of from a stop with the weight not moving and then accelerate quickly.

5) Maintain a steady speed with the weight not moving and then decelerate slowly

6) Maintain a steady speed with the weight not moving and then decelerate quickly

7) Maintain a steady speed with the weight not moving and then turn slowly.

8) Maintain a steady speed with the weight not moving and then turn quickly
