You are investigating a process for which literature papers seem to show contradictory results. Most of the papers claim that solution concentration is the dominant factor. You collect data and you set out to check the veracity of the claim related to the effect of salt type and concentration on the pH of an aqueous solution. Table 1 shows the factors and their levels. Analyze the data collected as thoroughly as possible. You would like to address two questions: (a) Make a statement about the literature claim; (b) Could you get an alternate continuation of the estimate of the error but now using information om the NPP'? Any remarks? Dependent and Independent Variables '2' Independent VariablesfFactors: 1. Salt solution concentration (three levels: 1, 2, and 3 \"1%). 11. Salt type {two levels: monobasic sodium phosphate, NaH2P04 (salt A), and dibasic sodium phosphate, NagHPO4 (salt 3}}. v Dependent Variable (Measured Response) pH of solution. Experimental Procedure Twelve solutions with three different concentrations If], 2, and 3 wt%} and two different salt types fNaHzPOa. and NazHPO4} were prepared and then the pH of each solution was measured by an Orion 520A pHmeter. All of the experiments were performed at room temperature and by one individual. Table 1: Process data Solution concentration {wt'i/u)
