Used to work as a file clerk in the court system prior to injury. Able to care for herself for the most part, still getting therapy and has memory issues. Unable to return to work at previous job at this time. Has the ability to work part time due to therapy - needs to find some type of job that can accommodate her need for therapy several times a week. Client receives physical/occupational therapy 1-2 times a week at an outpatient center. Does not drive and sometimes forgets or does not make appointments because her mother is still working. Is forgetful at times and also has mood swings on occasion. Her daughter now lives with the child's father due to her TBI. Sees the daughter frequently when mother is there to supervise visits. Client is able to walk short without assistance. Still rebuilding muscle strength with therapy. Has limp on left side and reduce strength in left arm.
