You are the front-end HIM Supervisor at LiveWell, and you have a series of planning meetings with the Director of HIM as the EHR deployment approaches in eight months. You have completed the task from the last meeting and brought the data with you. It has two tables: the first lists your existing Front-End Staff along with their current duties and another, and the second lists the anticipated EHR job categories with HIM front-end responsibilities. You carefully review them with the director, and she establishes the next step for you. At the next meeting, you will bring a Planning Outline for Staffing that will direct the steps you need to take to realign or replace/remove your existing staff by the July go-live. (The current month is November and there are eight months until July.) It will also identify recruitment needs for the HIM Front-End area. The Director reminds you that repurposing staff is also a possibility since LiveWell has over 30 current job postings, and some HIM staff might be qualified to apply for an open position at LiveWell
