You are the logistics manager at a Canadian clothing company.

The marketing department has analyzed the need for a new product. The design team has designed the clothing. Now your job is to have it made and delivered to retailers (in Canada).

Deliverable: Pr epare a report to send to the product manager. The product manager must approve of your logistical choices before you can execute your distribution plan. Instructions:

1. Brainstorm the raw materials used to make a pair of new Yoga shoes.

(Polyester, cotton, leather, rubber, etc...)

1. Research the countries that are the top three producers of the material(s).
2. Research the countries that are the top three manufacturers of shoes.
3. Choose your manufacturing country based on the distance it is away from the sources of raw materials.
4. Choose the countries that will be the top three consumers of your products.
5. Outline your distribution plan for the Canadian market. Consider all transportation requirements (from the raw materials >> manufacturer >> retailer)
